  • Problem with loading files

I'm not sure if it's problem with edius X but It freezes when loading some clips. Some clips work perfectly, but some of them freeze edius to the point of where i have to use task manager.

I'm asking you nicely does anyone have idea what's wrong? Could it be my PC? Or is there sth wrong with file? (i doubt cause all clips used to work perfectly before)

    Thank you in advance.

I have downloaded the file and it crashed EDIUS after a bit of scrubbing

the file was created in Premiere Pro and has an unusual audio frame rate of 46 fps whereas video is 25 fps, see attached

to solve the issue, you could right click the file in the bin and choose convert file, select Grass Valley HQ, then use the new clips on the timeline and all will be good

you can batch convert in the bin if you have more, select all and then right click and convert and have a whiskey while it is happening
