  • EDIUS X - License Issue

Hey guys i installed the 10 Trial while I waited for my purchased license to arrive. it ran great (other then silly watermark, really guys!). Now that I have installed my licenses I can't get it running I get "Failed to connect". I have tried disabling my firewall etc... but nothing helps. I'm wondering if I need to remove the trial license but I don't know how. is the authentication server from Grass Valley down? if so that would be scarry that I can't run this without them. Then it's not really owning your software (Key edius point). Any ways any help would be appreciated.

Thank you Grass Valley Edius team for yet another version of Edius!!!

which anti virus program do you use? the error may be related to the render service and not the license

Anton is correct this looks like an error from the render service.

Ha! Good one! I have always wondered about this marketing strategy. Doesn't everyone still get an Adobe Creative Cloud license anyway?
