  • Edius X Pro and Vistitle

I did see a remark that Vistitle needs updating. But I tried to create a title anyway.

I copied the Edius 9 Vistitle plugin to the Edius X folder and it can read and playback existing Vistitle captions that are already on the timeline. (Before copying the plugin they showed as offline.)

I then tried adding a text capiton by right-clicking a V track using QuickTitler. That worked.

I then did the same right-click on track and chose Vistitle.

    Edius immediately crashed.

It did create a System Report but I am not sure if that is wanted nor where I would send it to.

It may be that the issue is known about under review anyway.

I would wait for the official version for X. You will need the digital license in order for it to work.

I have 2.8.5.0 too but doesn't work. What files do I have to copy in which Edius X folder for the plugin?

Yes this does work for me, but not until I did a restart of my PC.

Something I notice is that my Edius 9 takes a long time to open but Edius X was opening really quickly.

Now VisTitle works Edius X takes as long as Edius 9 does to open. Not a problem for me just thought you would like to know.

Anton I just noticed that we have different files. My "VtEDIUSImporter7.tpi" is 1.764 KB, your filesize is 1.855 KB. Could this be the problem?
