For people getting the error message about an email address, please check the following. Go to your settings and look in the Account tab. Look in the area where you would change your email address. I had a problem where it was automatically inserting my user name in the first email box. There should not be anything in that box or in the one below where you would confirm the email address.

Hi, New forum looks good to me thanks, only thing is, i can't login using my original login name "Tony" :) its telling me ...The administrator has required that you enter a valid date of birth.
Please go to the Profile tab in the User settings and enter your date of birth and save the changes...but because i can't login, i can't get to the Profile tab :)

I discover actually the new forum. I have to learn... Here just my 2 cents and demands :

- Where is the "Quote" box ?
- Bottom the page I dont see the link : Forum>Editors>Editing with EDIUS.
- There is an agenda availble : Is it visible for everybody ? What is the motivation and hopes ?

On the "old" forum, you could read where a member was based geographically. This has gone now, is that by design? I found it useful to know if I was replying to someone in PAL land or NTSC land.

Your back office tweak fixed the login .THANK YOU.
However trying to change Display mode in settings to Dark Mode brings up email addresses dont match error - but they do.I can though, change to Dark Mode from bottom LH corner.

attaching images often causes the images to appear within the text, so before attaching it is important to press return key a few times after typing in order to create space below for the image

in the old forum, when clicking a bold highlighted thread containing new posts, I was automatically taken to the newest post

in this forum that does not work, instead a very tiny icon on the left of the thread title needs to be clicked

I tested all the text customization settings and none of them work, they all revert to default after save, like colors of text and buttons and links and text size

on the positive side, this forum now works well on a phone and I like it better than the old one on the desktop as well, I prefer the light theme over the dark in the new forum, but some users need to change their signature colors in order to be readable in the light theme, example Jerry
