Support confirmed the existence of only one jumpered position on the corner of the NX board.

The extra jumper found in the packaging is of no concern, and was just "one of those things."

You should have 1 long and 1 short dv cable the short connect to the nx board and the componet ot board to the hd monitor The long one goes to the front dv, sd, composite connect board. I just checked mine.

I would phone GV and ask them to count the jumpers on a new board, then you can compare

there should be no spare jumpers in your packaging

In looking through the packaging for my PCI-X NX board, I noticed a loose little black jumper in the pink bubble wrap bag for the board.

The board itself DOES have a black jumper installed in the right corner closest to the motherboard, toward the front of the case.

Is this simply an extra, or did it fall off somewhere else?
