  • Edius not showing video that VLC plays fine

I have a video file that was restored from a damaged SD card. As usual, video files from the restoration are corrupt and don't play. I repaired it with designated repair software.
The video file now plays fine with VLC, Windows media player, and any other player. However, in Edius, it loads but only shows a green screen. In Adobe Premiere it also loads but shows a black screen.

I'm going to try and convert it with VLC but wanted to ask if you can please look at the video info of the file in the screenshot below and explain why NLEs can't read it?

Quick scan shows audio frame rate different to video frame rate. That may cause some problems for NLE's but not players. If you can get something to export video and audio separately ( and correct the audio frame rate ) you may get it to work.

Already re-encoded the video and finished the job but that's a great catch and logical explanation!
