capturing with Canopus HQ

    Sorry BH, just catching up.
    There's not real benefit to capture material shot in DV as Canopus HQ - it's an unnecessary conversion. Just capture the native DV.

    If you're capturing from an analog or SDI source using EDIUS hardware, then you can capture as Canopus HQ, Canopus DV, Canopus Lossless, or uncompressed.
    Scaling (best to lowest)
    U/c
    CL
    CHQ
    CDV

    And depending on the input format, cutoffs (no real benefit to go higher)

    hello
    i'm using canopus divx, wich is for dv editing only, and edius 4.5.
    is it possible to capture in dv mode with Canopus HQ codec?
    and if so, what are the settings for this?
    or this option works only in hdv format?
