jvc hd100g and storm with edius

i have recently purchased a jvc gy-hd201e pro hd camera with 100g hard disc and wondered if i could still use my storm 2 and edius 4.51 to edit hd from the jvc

i really don't want to give up on my storm 2 and would really like to build a system to work well with it but know that soon, when the new ver of edius 5 comes out, it will not be supported but would be happy to continue using 4.5 therefore can anyone can advise if i can edit in hd and still get compatibility this way. i dont need to capture now.

To edit in HD you'll either have to edit in OHCI HD mode, or use an EDIUS hardware board.
Either way, you can't get HD output with any of the legacy Canopus boards.

Once you go into a HD project setting, the DVStorm won't be doing anything.
