Output to MPG2

Hi

Just finished my first simple project in Edius and I'm ready to output :-)

When my timeline is ready I press F11 to output to file. I want an MPG2 file incl. PCM audio, CBR and 6000 Kb. I don't seem to find any preset like that.

What I have done now is that I have output to a DV AVI file and am now converting it in ProCoder Xpr. for Edius, and it seems to work ok, but it would have been easier to convert directly from Edius TL. Am I missing something, or is this just the workflow possible for this?

You want to use the 'MPEG (Generic)' exporter. This will let you export with the settings you've described, directly from the timeline.


(note: you can also export to MPEG-2 directly from the timeline, using ProCoder Express)

You can use the search bar in the window to filter down your exporters - try it and see!
