  • making a Facebook Banner video

Has anyone done a FB banner video? If yes, questions:
do you have a template I can use? I put the correct dimensions in for my project file but it's all showing up 16:9 format when I edit... I need the "boundries" to fit the video into.
If not - should I just put a specific layout dimension to compensate and work within that?
ANYTHING I should know that you ran into when making this?

    TY!

I assume you made a custom project. If so set the display in the project template to 1:1

YES - I did that. Custom per FB : 820X462... display 1:1 - maybe I'm expecting it to be more like an "elongated rectangle" aspect than the 16:9-ish one it shows now.

Uhm... divide 820 by 462. It is 1,77. Divide 16 by 9. It is 1,77. Therefore, 820x462 is a 16:9 format. Not a usual one, but is 16:9. Therefore, it looks 16:9-ish ;-)

          16:9 is a 1.777:1 ratio (1.78:1) 820x462 is 1.77489:1 (1.77:1) almost identical

Had a feeling it was something like that - thanks so much for putting the ratios up!!
