  • Edius ISO

I am ready to do a fresh build I was wondering how the ISO problem is coming along? Should I try it? I am one who has had Edius since V1.0 and been upgrading ever since. Do I need my discs or just the ISO and the Dongle?

Just the ISO and 4.0 dongle. 4.61 should be released in April, as stated by GV (I think KH) so if you can hold off on it, wait for that one...or install 4.54, there isn't much in 4.6 for non Edius Broadcast users.

Also grab the latest QuickTime from Apple's site, the one that's on the downloadable Edius ISO image has some issues.

Since my computer went down yesterday, I am downloading the ISO, but I wonder about install, shall I have the dongle inserted during install, or should I wait for some windows message to insert it ?

It doesn't matter either way - the dongle won't be checked until you run the actual application.

For installation, you just need your CD Key.

I went through this site, seem to be a problem installing titlemotion, I get edius not found too, is there anybody having a fix for this...
Or am I simply to reinstall from 3.xx to get it to work ?

Would it be out of the question to have a FULL ISO? Meaning Xplode Pro, TM all in the ISO not just Edius?

I made one myself -- I took the ISO, added TM Pro, Procoder 3, SoundSoap 2.1.1, and the latest QuickTime.

Xplode Pro is included in the 4.6 ISO.

We cannot add TMP because of licensing restrictions.

I mounted the ISO as a removable drive using Microsoft's free Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel, copied the files to my hard drive, added the folders for the other products, and then burned a DVD from that. I also included text files with all the license keys and copies of my invoices to the disk.

I used the ISO and it only put in Xplode for Edius not Xplode pro unless theres a new build I dont know about.
