After editing a 16X9 clip using the 16X9 template everything is streched on a standard TV. What am I doing wrong? I want people with wide screen and 4X3 TV's to be able to view this. Thanks in advance for the help.

o.k. heres the deal if you edit in 16X9 mode and export in 16X9 mode when you make the DVD it should be "Letter boxed" on a 4:3 set and fills the screen on a 16X9 set. What I do (becasue I dont have a 16X9 set to edit in yet) is put Edius in 4:3 to edit so I see a letterbox to edit then change the preset to 16X9 to export.Randy

If the player is set for 16x9 output but playing on a 4x3 TV then your problem will rear its head, make sure the player is set to 4x3 letter box
Also in the Authering program make sure the Project is set to 16x9 or the wrong flag could be sent to the DVD Player

also, when you export to DVD files using ProCoder for Edius, be sure to enable 16:9 flag in advanced settings
