Looking for text effects

Hi all,

I'm looking for an easy way to create a text (character) glow and also a kind of light beam effect around characters. If it's possible to create this with a titler which integrates into Edius this would be perfect. TIA!

Vitascene has several of those effects that you describe.

no need to swear KH, TM Pro does beautiful glows

however, I still get at least 20 errors a day using Tm Pro heavily (exception caught error, TM Pro must close)

Here are two sample clips which show exactly what I need:

Sample 01 (2.14MB)

Sample 02 (1.71MB)

(maybe you need to right click the link and choose 'save as---')

How can such effects be created with the mentioned tools? Money doesn't matter, they just have to look the same as shown in the sample clips.

I watched the 2 video and yes, that effect is in Vitascene.

I get the text light rays to work on my system in 1920x1080. It smokes in SD.
There are a couple of them that I can't get to work. The rest work pretty well.
If you are using a stand alone title, let's say from photoshop, what I do is drag and drop the filter button and then choose the transition title effects.
This makes the photoshop title active and you can add motion and fades with 3dpip.
