Is there a way to convert to wav within discapture? What ends out with the file is I put it on the time line just so that I can convert it to MPEG2 video with MP2 audio.

The AC3 audio might cause some audio sync problems. Convert to a wav and see if that helps

Any ideas on why when doing a DVD disc capture to M2V there would be a problem with lip sync on some DVDs? (I reimaged the PC new operating Win XP and then a fresh install of Edius.) Is there a better application for DVD capture? (perferably to MPEG2 video and layer 2 audio). We do get producers bring in on DVD-Video. Whats interesting is when I try MPEG Streamclip software there is no problem but that software is not easy to know what your capturing from the disc if there are say 2 episodes of a program.
