I had a similar issue a long time ago

Do you have a 6600 series graphics card in your machine?

If so get rid of it most people who have them have this problem!

If not try putting the text at the top of the ini file! or the opposite to what ever you have tried!
Asus P5K64WS, Intel Core 2 Quad QX6850 Extreme CPU, Saphire HD 3850 512mb graphics, WDraptor160 OS, Highpoint Rocket raid 2310 4 x 500gig Seagate sata 2 se drives in raid 0, NXe and Edius 5.51 Imaginate 2.
Procoder 3.06 and various Prodad add-ons

        overlay problem MVR1000SX card

        Hi,
I have the same problem with a GeForce 7600 GT video card but instead of Storm I have an MVR1000SX.
Capture is fine but the only way to view the video being captured in Mediacruise is by dragging the viewing window around the screen. If left it just displays a frozen frame.
What code would I put in the Canopus ini file in this case. Or is there any other simple fix.
        Can anyone please help.
        Cheers

I vaguely remember an similar issue very long ago.
I can't remember anymore if it was driver or vga card related but what I do recall is that if you have a dual monitor setup, moving the capture window to the main 'primary' pc monitor on your vga card, also disabling the 2nd monitor while capturing and use only the primary could help.

Sure like to read 'mediacruise' again as I used it for a long time to play out to TV using a DV storm card, miss that dearly...........
