Does mp3 music go out of sync?

Just noticed, audio when in MP3 format(yet to confrim)eg music goes out of sync when played back in entirety on timeline, footage is fine. When I edit section its in sync, when watching complete playback or exporting it occasionally goes out of sync. Does music in WAV format prevent this.

I am generally against using MP3's on the timeline. Convert to WAV, then upsample to 48Khz 16bit, Stereo and you should be fine :)

happens to me all the time depending on the mp3.

either render it out on the timeline or do what StormDave suggests, works for me :)
