New Filters?!

Yah, the new filters are kind of confusing. I had the same questions way back here.

What does select channel do?

'Block Color' was 'Solid Color' in the *Edit/Premiere days.

'Select Channel' was added in v4.5.

Is it just me or did Canopus slip us a couple new filters? I now have a "Block color" Which I have no idea what it does and a select Channel which seems like a attempt at Alpha channel. Have they been here long?
