yet another stupid question

I'm a new user of Edius Pro 4 and pretty much self-taught, still swimming (and sometimes drowning) in the deep end! As such, I've got some amateur questions, so can I just throw it out there for the guys who've been swimming around here for ages and hope you'll forgive the ignorance and terminology....

When I drag a clip onto my timeline, the audio and video automatically seperate, video going to VA and audio to the Audio track. I don't want this to happen (and it hasn't happened before so I suspect I've inadvertently clicked on something I shouldn't have) but I have no idea how to stop it! Please help...

right click on audio channel next to the audio lock choose: clear all tracks


You turned on audio mapping that is why the audio is going to the mapped track.
