How to insert a clip and ripple 12 tracks?

OK.... I can't seem to find a thread (or in the pdfs) about the scenario I'm trying to figure out. How do I insert a single clip at the front of the timeline and ripple everything (12 tracks) to the right? Also how can you insert empty filler space in the timeline and have everything, all tracks, ripple in sync to accomodate the empty filler space? Thanks in advance.

Make sure Ripple and Sync Mode are both on, and then use the Shift+Alt shortcut to drag all the clips along to make room.

I tried this and only 1 track moved. Sync and ripple mode are on in application settings. I have 1 VA track, 10 V tracks, 1 A track, 1 title track. Is this method supposed to move all the tracks or just the one you mouse click and drag? I want to shift all tracks down the timeline 5 seconds to insert an opening logo. I hold down shift+alt and drag a track. Is this correct? Thanks.

Ok I got it right now.... I didn't have the sync mode ticked on the timeline insert button. Thanks, I knew it was going to be real simple answer, duh...
