  • Caturing Audio from mini DV tape?

Hi - can someone please explaine how I capture audio from a mini DV tape? I need to take a piece of live music from the tape to put in one of the audio channels.

    Thanks folks!

Just capture it normally. You will have audio and black for video.

There is an audio-only capture option available within EDIUS v4.x

yes, I often capture audio only by clicking the audio capture button which can be placed next to the video capture button in customize section

Sorry - Still confused! When I go go to capture at the top of the screen the Audio Capture that comes up is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?

The audio capture is waiting for you to tell it which device to use.
Select device first and audio capture will be available.

So lets say in my case NHX_E2-dv
I click that select the framerate
            Ok
            Then audio capture is available.
