Well, everybody has their priorities - right? Much as I want true Alpha support, 10 bits, HD SDI, and everything else under the sun, I suppose the one big problem with EDIUS is the lack of anything that allows incorporation of background music into the timeline. No 3rd party support at all - for this moment in time.

That said, there are more third-party things you'll see soon.

I use Sonic Fire Pro as well. But, I do a little thing called 'backtiming' to get my music to match, timewise.
As much as the plugin would be welcome, it has to get to the back of a very long line of feature requests.

Thank You
Thank you for posting feature request, I was a design engineer with microsoft for a few years, I just don't understand why Canopus wont keep up with i.e Premiere Pro,Avid, ect ect, in these fields, if they did they would have a perfect program, these plugins are great and very easy to use for your Audio music,I hope they will contact sonic fire about Quick Tracks plugin, I emailed them and they said that they would be happy to come on board with Canopus, and also said that they recieve alot of emails with people wanting this for edius, Come on everyone lets get it happening.

Quicktracks in Edius
Hi Guys,
I using Adobe Premiere Pro as I have done many reviews for Adobe over the years and don't pay for software. Anyway My question to Grass Valley is why don't you work with Sonic Fire Quicktracks to allow them to make a plugin for edius as they do for Premiere Pro, The Quicktracks plugin is a great tool for adding music and takes out all the guess work ect, This would be great to see one day in Edius. I have spoken to Sonic fire and they said that they would be happy to but Grass Valley won't come on board.
WHY? as I know many people myself that want this.
Cheers
