To be specific, the EDIUS SP card requires a 64-bit PCI-X slot for complete HD functionality.

Using the board in the shorter 32-bit PCI slot will disable HD functions. (SD support only)

If you installed into a PCI-X slot, as you stated above, then you have installed it properly and that is why you are getting RT performance in HD.

Voltage compatibility aside, it can run in a 32-bit PCI slot, but it cannot be used for anything HD-based. (you won't see HD presets when you run EDIUS)

Thanks for that, it is god to know, my new supermicro mobo just died few days ago and i am waiting for news on that.

By the way, i like the NX and i will kep on using it for news ediding and effects work in projects.
It does not kost so much at all and works grate, i thing ill get at least one or two NX soon.

Are any of you using HDBX1000 ?

You can still edit in HD, but only with the Generic OHCI preset - as I said, using the SP board in a 32-bit PCI slot will disable the use of the board for HD output to an external display.

In one of the earlier posts he mentioned that he was getting output to monitor with HDV timeline.

Yes, as I saw, but it would appear that there's been an oversight somewhere - realtime HD component output using nothing but 32-bit PCI slots just isn't possible.
