It depends what you undestand as a connection:
AAF Export(from Edius) makes it possible to import the timeline/sequence into after effects (AAF import with AE 7.0 or higher...P2 works only from 8.02) and do postproduction there..!
But there is nothing like a dynamic link in PP and AE.
Anyway, this AAF thing should be a big help, i havent tried with P2 yet, but in general its a very helpfull workflow and can even give you 10bit processing, when AE just reads out the AAF to work with the original files..!

Its used with HVX200 HPX 3000 and other Panasonic camcorders...Edius is the editing program that progresses the native editing the best..!

It can save you a lot of time and HDD-space as well, as you dont have to export any new video-clips and the edits are allready there...!
Titles and graphics done in Edius might be a problem, which means that you receive an error message in AE, but can succeed..the Graphics will simply be gone...!
Just keep in mind that you wount be able to export an AAF from Edius when you have mixed certain timeline: i ran into that problem using sequences in 720p 25i and 720 50p....!
There is also some bug sometimes, that you will receive the same error (cant export because of video in track 1..something like that..) and it can be any clip in the TL that causes that message.
I had a project where i used the EXACT same clip twice, but the 2nd time in different speed.
When i erased this certain part, i was able to export the aaf....strange but true..!
