  • XDCAM files with Edius broadcast on laptop

    Hello,

Is it also possible to capture XDCAM-files on a laptop with edius broadcast?
Do you have to install special plugins?

    thanks,
    Alain

Once tried capture with Premiere and Sony Vaio.
    - just keep capture partition clean (Diskeeper).

You don't capture xdcam files. You import them.
Why would you want to capture them if you have a tapeless file based workflow?
      (does not make sense)

You need Edius broadcast which enables native xdcam.
You then see xdcam select with wich you import proxies or high res for editing.

You need EDIUS Broadcast. I guess you have edius pro.

If so a simple upgrade would solve all your problems. :)

Moet je echt doen. Het bespaart enorm veel tijd.
De broadcast update geeft ook de mogelijkheid on EX native to editen.
