What do you mean "manage the 1333 FSB"?
The product specs. showed the 1333FSB as "processor dependent".
    Whatever that means...

As for poopie, I was considering the onboard video only... but who knows!

    Vman,

Just try it! That mainboard is specifically made for HP by Asus.

It will probably work ok. Or, you could get the Edius Pro software only and run in OHCI mode as you are now for half the money.

I'm currently using the demo version of Edius and it works great with lots of real time effects (Core 2 Quad Processor and 3 gigs Ram). It also has a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS graphics card with 256MB dedicated video memory which I didn't think would be poopie.

I agree about the limited slots, but as long as I can get the Canopus cards in there, that's all I need.

Most Intel 775 boards seem to work fine. Mine does with NX.
The board in question is pretty slim on slots. Just enough for NX, but if you can manage the 1333 FSB it may be good. The on-board RAID is a plus, but the graphics may be poopie.

    Would this motherboard be ok?

I have already have an HP system and it has an ASUS IPIBL-LA motherboard installed. It isn't on the Canopus list of compatible motherboards, but would there be any obvious problems?
