  • No render options for Xplode

    Hello,

I have problems with config Xplode and Edius 4.54

When I go to Xplode Edius config - 3D Render tab, the box shows ONLY D3D
universal Renderer. I cannot choose something else. So I think Xplode does not see my Asus Geforce 8400 GS graphics card correctly.
After pushing the config button I see 4 Render options from my Asus
Geforce 8400 GS graphics card. When I select NVIDIA Geforce 8400 GS - Direct3D T&L Hal and click OK, nothing changes on the 3D Render tab. The box still shows D3D universal Renderer.
It seems to me that is not right. The same happens with XplodePro
    config.

    Configuration:
    Board: Intel DP965LT
    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2Ghz
    Graphics: NVidea ASUS EN8400GS
    RAM: 2Gb Kingston DDR II-667

NVidea Forceware driver 163.75_forceware_winxp_32bit_international_whql.ex e (because Canopus recommended version 162.18 or later)
    EDIUS PRO 4.54
    Update XplodePro For EDIUS v451

    Config:
    * Xplode Edius config, the tab Info shows Version 04.00.03
    * XplodePro config, the the tab Info shows Version 04.03.04

    What should I do?

What you are seeing is correct it means there is no other 3D renderer on your machine, by pushing the config button you are setting how the renderer will use your graphics card.
If nothing is selected it means the renderer will use the Processor to render the filters.
Try your Xplode to see if it works on other than alpha, if it does not the only way back to making it useful (Especially for HDV) is to use Windows Restore to a time before you set the render option.
Makes it difficult if it has been working in SD and then you find it won't work in HD to get back!

did you place the nvidia dll in the Stages folder of Xplode for Edius and another version for Xplode Pro

Xplode Pro needs to be configured from a different panel to Xplode for Edius
here are the Pro files if you don't have them

also, install Xplode Pro 4.6 first

Better not to do it... Nothing good can bring to nVidia card this old dll ... Only green stupid screen, better to stay with standard 3D render...

I thought XPLODE does not support HD anymore? Only SD?

Thanks guys, here some more information about my problem..

This site shows a NVidia Reference Driver, which I don’t have on my screen.

And this link told something about D3D7NV.dll

I don’t have that dll either.

                This is simple to solve.
I have seen this on my system doing a clean install and installing the lates 4.6 xplode pro.

                Solotution.

                Go to Program files/ canopus/edius4/xplodepro/

                doubleclick fxconfig in that folder
go to 3 d renderer and chose the one for you card.,.

                click apply and then ok.

Now it will show up everywhere.

                Steve

Ik had dit verhaal ook gewoon in het nederlands kunnen vertellen. :)

Maar je moet natuurlijk eers de dll voor je video card copieren in the stages folder zoals de anderen al vertelt hebben.
