    7. No, I have far too much software in this partition.
To follow up, I installed on another non NX PC, same problem, tried my laptop and install went fine.

Installed a fresh copy in new partition of XP SP2 and works like a dream on the same PC which has NX PCI-x installed.

    7. No, I have far too much software in this partition.

I tried the reinstall update over the top. Did not work.
Uninstalled and tried the ISO install. Did not work.

I am very disappointed having come back from a shoot in CapeTown with the Sony EX1 and wanted to play with the footage, upgraded and bang no NLE.

I wanted to add that going from a working 4.54 environment in Pro upgrading to 4.6 Broadcast with new usb key also gave me the expiry message.

    7. Yes. I formatted my whole computer and installed Edius Pro 4.5 (copy of my dealer) and upgraded to 4.6 with no luck. Then I put my image back to Windows XP Pro only and installed the full image of 4.6. without rebooting working fine. But after reboot same message "This version has already expired".

The message "has expired" popped up the first time after upgrading to edius broadcast.
For me it is no problem as I can shut the window down by clicking the X, then edius runs along fine.
