Thanks for all the work! I know it must be hard without a nice legalizer.
Maybe If you would like we should ask Gv to include your new presets in the next Edius release. Or make them available as a bonus.
In that way even people who don't visit the forum (yes there are still some around ) will have the nice presets.

Ok friend, it would be great that the new presets part of the new EDIUS either within the plataform or as an extra bonus is taking very well while I keep my folder credit STEREOVISION welcome ... I give you my permission, greetings friend

If you use the vector scope you see it crystal clear. That is why magic bullet out of Ae uses a legalizer at the final stage to bring everything within specs.
This is not entirely possible in Edius .

I am posting the new "40 Presets At Style Magic Bullet" version 2.0, this time will be fully legalized all presets .. These will be within the margins allowed for legalization of color as they were checked with the VectorScope /WaveForm and Video Monitor "SD" and "HD" ... These new 40 presets that delivers tomorrow are totally perfect with much more aspect that the presets earlier ... Thanks for your concern, Greetings

I would like to make a request that I would delete this post ... Because tomorrow will publish a new post dealing with this subject

The presets are so nice! I intend to flash them around during an upcoming editor shootout. Just to make some feel bad. (tee hee)

Here's a short example of Color Reversal in use.

Thanks again for the great presets, and all your time invested to make them!

Thankyou for the presets! A lot of work has gone into them, so well done.

I noticed you have the blend filter embedded in some of them (eg, nightime for block colour) is that so we can keyframe the effect? Otherwise, why didn't you just use block colour?

    Just curious :)

Actually no it won't ... at least not to a valid spec that any or all broadcaster will accept.
A valid signal is one that is within color gamut and remains legal when translated into any other format. A valid signal is always legal, but a legal signal is not necessarily valid. Enabling "Safe Color" in the YUV filetr or any of EDIUS's other correction filters may contrain the footage to a YUV safe color range but will not contrain the colors within YRGB gamut.

The above is noted solely as info for those who might unwittingly use the Safe Color checkbox on a correction filter thinking that it will give them "broadcast safe" output.

I accounts as you did ... Greetings

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

The Application of the "Safe Color" is not necessarily applicable in all cases ... This is a excepciòn because it is generating a color texture to achieve the closest possible to assimilate 99.99% (if not 100%) to the original presets of Magic Bullet ...

I understand this is a valid argument, but not necessarily applicable in all cases and that his had not been activated achieved desired texture, if you want the original presets Edius 4 "Sepia Type 1", "Sepia Type 2" check if this activated safe color as not appreciating what this because by this time it is generating a color and texture not to correct a color ... Greetings
AWESOME....Thank you very much caminostero....I've tried your presets with other built in preset like old movie and the look turned out very nice. Now, I have to experiment to make the footage look more like a film-look. Any suggestions on the settings? Muchas gracias!

    Andy,

    Thanks for this info.

I don't understand what the "safe" in safe colors does then.

Could you please explain some more, because I thought I was told to use this checkbox to ensure the video would be restrained for broadcast.

And if there is a better or proper way to make sure everyhting is valid and legal, please let me/us know.

    Thanks

Were these created for SD? There are several presets with the Region filter in odd locations for HD projects. Not a big deal to re-save as HD dimensions.

    Thanks!
Most of the filters are applying for resolution (SD) and (HD), only some 1 or 2 are for (SD), but that friend oneself adjusts and adapts for use in dimensions (HD), all filters are customizables yourself ... Greetings
