I have seen a few having issues with the 4.6 upgrade. It seems everyone with problems is using it with an NX card. Are there any users have issues on a standalone OHCI Edius system. I don't have NX but would like to update. 4.54 is working great now and I don't want to lose any time upgrading unless it will work....an no I can't wait till all projects are complete before updating. I have multiple projects in different states of completion all the time.

I have 2 OHCI test drives both are "bugged" Fortunately they are ghosted drives which I re-installed on anyway.
Given the randomness of this bug unless you ghost your drive first you would be taking a risk.

Good to know. I did download the update on release day but haven't installed it yet. I'm working okay with 4.54 for now plus I have some projects to finish.

I had a failed 4.6 install on my new system (ohci + Vista). I reverted to 4.54 (at a second attempt) and am sticking with that for now as it is working well. This failed install was from a v4 upgrade disc plus the 4.6 download file. It is possible that the install failed because of me - I made one or two missteps in the process along the way - but I am hesitating before trying again by trying to install over 4.54.
V4.6 seems to have installed OK on on my old (XP sp2 + Storm based) pc; that install was directly over 4.54. I say "seems" because I have not tried any serious editing with it yet.DVC laptop: W870CU i7; 17.3" 1920x1080; 2x 1TB 7200rpm SATA notebook drives; Edius 8.5WG; Windows 7.

Vista 64bit
Hi,
I have mentioned this before but thought I would mention again, I have been using Edius 4.54 and 4.6 with Vista 64bit and have never had it crash or shut down on me while using the software, You just have to remember to add the EXE file to DEP in vista 64bit, which is found by Right clicking Computer, Select Properties, Advanced system settings, then Advanced then Performance settings, Runs great under 64bit as a stand alone..
P.S Please note this is only for vista 64bit systems..Not 32bit Vista
Cheers
