  • Audio drop out on cut

Hello to all you edius gurus
Have upgraded to edius broadcast version 4.24 recently.
Am just doing a pop/rock dvd for a signed band.I needed to put a cut into the clip on the timeline to add an effect to a small part of the clip instead of all of it so pressed my keyboard shortcut key C and that cut the clip.
When I now play back the clip the audio has a very small glitch /dropout where the cut was put.
I would of hoped that the audio would have remained consistant even when inserting the cut but at the moment it dosent.Any Ideas what ahappening here.
Should I have just cut the video without it affecting cutting the audio?

I am not sure why this has happened to you but if the audio and video are locked together undo back to the point of the cut and then lock the audio track(s) and then cut it again. The video will be cut but the audio will left alone.

What you are hearing is not normal behavior at all but to get you through it for right now try this and see if it helps :)

zooming to a 1 frame level also helps, sometimes you don't see that clips are not touching and you get the pop
