Simple Title Problem

Thanks THoff. The German version - the basis for all other language versions - was at first finally approved by the customer so I had no synchronization problems at all. But I'll keep your hint in mind for future projects. -
You may also want to set up one title track for each language, and then Group the titles for each of the languages so that if one is moved, they all move together.
Disable all but one of the title tracks and render out the project to produce each of the language versions of your project.
Doing it this way keeps you from having to maintain three separate copies of the project. Keeping all of them synchronized as you edit would be a pain in the butt.Leave a comment:

after saving project as new name, then you need to use save as inside TmPro, when you change the title, then choose save as and give it a name, such as E1, E2 etc (english1, english2 etc)Leave a comment:

I don't think so.
You don't have to create diferent projects.
We use in the bin duplicate sequence.
Rename the duplicate . Open it in a new tap and edit away.
That because all graphical elements stay the same. Only lower third roll and if we sub the subs. O yeh the bumper text
But all the previous edit stay in tact and we can lift stuff from them when needed.

It's logical. Did you see my additional comment? All these projects are in the same project folder - could this be the problem?Leave a comment:

It works like this. I use it very often with tmpro and heroglyph. When using save as it is impossible to replace to original.
Your original project therefor can't change.
Even if you use the duplicate sequence command and use the save as for titles in the duplicate the original sequence stays as it was before the duplicate command.
This is something we use every week for a tv show.Leave a comment:

Use save as . If you opened from the timeline the title will automatically be substituted with the save as one. (and have the same lenght)
Really simple.Leave a comment:

Simple Title Problem
I'm just about to finish a multi-lingual project. The source is a German version - commentary and titles in German. Based on that I've saved this as 3 different additional projects - French, English and Italian. Each of these projects have the commentary in the corresponding language. Being somewhat naive I changed the titles to the corresponding language too. Most of you probably know what happend. The titles in all projects were in the language that I've worked on at last. I feel somewhat silly.
What is the easiest way to achieve what I want?Tags: None
