The Clip Properties window opens quickly enough, but the lag happens between when the window opens and when the information fills the window. (It's just gray for probably less than a second.) Not a big deal, but definitely not there in 4.54.

No delay when I open Clip Properties.
No delay when I hit the space bar
Timeline Scrubbing is like in 4.54

zero problem until this moment (with NX) ...

    Another lag ?

Has anyone else noticed the slight delay when you open a Clip Properties (Alt+Enter) window? Only with 4.6.

I am editing in hardware mode using SP card, are you in OHCI only? I have not tried that
No I have the NX card, but I think that could be it, I'm BC right now will check that later.
    Thanks.

I had my play back buffer set on 15 frames, have set it to 5 and now it works properly, obviously the buffer filling was what was slowing down the playback. I assume Anton it is normal for a momentary pause before the playback starts?

I just grab the playhead on the timeline with the left mouse and drag, let it go hit space bar, and nothing happen, do the same thing but wait a second then hit space bar, play everytime, but really slow down my speed.

if I scrub a clip with J K L keys, using L for faster playback, I need to hit space twice in order to pause, this is normal, or I hit K to pause and then space to play

    Space bar Question

Does anyone else experience this? If I scrub the timeline or a clip in the viewer I have to hit the space bar twice before the thing will play back. Is this a normal function of Edius now (using the Edius PRO Broadcast 4.54) as I never noticed it until the new GUI upgrade of 4.54 (have not upgraded to 4.6 yet until I read a few more positive experiences with others)?

It is very frustrating to have to double hit the space bar as I often flick back and forth between scrubbing and playing for timing of edits/cuts ect and this just adds another physical action to the process which is time consuming.
