Settings for program monitor?
02-20-2008, 08:03 PM
I am using a Sony production monitor for viewing final output. It is connected by component cables (RGB) to the expansion board. What are the correct Edius settings to get an image? I have tried several options but no luck.

It should simply be a case of choosing the appropriate 'NHX-E1' project preset..

Are you working in HD or SD projects? Using NX?.
HD outputs from your component BNCs to your monitor. SD works only in composite or Y/C out.

SD also works via Component :) which is better than S-VIDEO.

Hello all,
I am working in HD and SD. I have been able to view the clips but I am not happy with what I am seeing. I have a lot of studying in front of me.

Jojo, what sort of monitor do you have, model wise? Is it CRT or LCD?
Good monitors show good pictures good and lesser pictures, bad.
