No, consequences were worse than that.
If the files had been lost everyone taking the masters would not have been on their way to a Masters Degree.

The installer has Japanese characthers. Don't panic. Just click the highlighted buttons to install it. The user interface will be in English, and it is very easy to use...

On the PC on which they were created the Storm card appears to have died.
I moved the files to the Edius Pc.
refavi manager - I did a Google for this and got only Japanese sites.
Is there another link?

Are the reference avi's in the exact location as when they were created? Does the ref avi play ok in media player or load into storm edit OK?

I have some AVI files originally created in Canopus Storm DV that I need to open in Edius 4.6.
Edius can see the files (ref AVI) but will not open them, giving an error that the file type is not recognised.
I tried converting them to Canopus HQ in ProCoder but all I got was a grey screen with a green bar at the bottom of the screen.
Anyone know ho to get around this?Tags: None
