  • Capture with USB?

    This might sound like a dumb question, but I have to capture some stuff form a consumer sony Digicam, which only has USB out....what the??? Can I capture as usual within edius - do I use Generic OHCI???

        Here's generally what will need to happen...
        1) You need to use Sony's software to download the video data from the camera to the PC hard drive
        2) If you're lucky, those files will just load directly into EDIUS
        2a) If not, then you'll have to convert them to something EDIUS can accept like DV or uncompressed.
