  • HiSpeed multicam editing after update to 4.51

    Hi
After Updating from 4 to 4.51 it is not possible to edit multicam in X2 X3 or X4
    mode.
In version 4 i could do it by pressing the "numpad 0" and followd by the desireable camera.

    can you help?
    Thanks

You have to remap your keyboard shortcut because they change it from the first version if you are use to pressing 0

If you're in JKL playback, you have to use Control-numpad...

                    problem not solved.
when using JKL for X2 playback in multucam i cannot cut.
                    - the version is 4.54
                    - the 0 key mapped the same
                    - "contro + NumPad" isnt working at all
                    - using only NumPad isnt working

I just tried it on my OHCI and would agree that in "JKL mode" you cannot cut any which way either CTRL numpad or NumPad.

Having just been evaluating, Multicam in readiness for a project next week, I have discovered that you cannot export the Multicam view (ie to give a client multicam rushes on DVD)....so I suspect I will just use my previous multi PIP matrix which can display all cameras and Timecoded as well.

At least in Multicam mode, JKL playback is considered "scrubbing" so standard NumPad will just switch camera, not add a new cut and switch.

My memory isn't serving me well so maybe it's not Control-NumPad and it's some other modifier. The proper shortcut should be listed in the printable shortcut thread. Double-click the target camera should do the same thing (cut and switch camera) though.

If that's not working, then something got broken along the way.

This has never worked for me.
I've tried ctrl and number keypad, no joy.
Double clicking the target camera is not really ideal when trying to work fast.
I'll look in the shortcut list, but any clues as to what it's called, or what section to look in?

Shortcut list is one the sticky posts.

I know for a fact that JKL switching did work at some point, but maybe it got broken somewhere along the way.
