Hi, Mike, thank you very much for your help. I just thoroughly tested the audio mixer and its all OK as it should be. All my fault, but still don't know what I had done wrong in that editing.

Thank you once again for your enlightening.

    Best Regards

When using the track selection in the mixer it should stay at that level even when you output the video.

If you could try something for me... could you create a AVI ( I am supposing you created a Mpg) of your timeline and see if the encoded avi level is where it should be. :)

Be aware that the levels will still read Zero but the level should "sound" where you placed them.

    Mike

    Help Adjusting Audio Level Please.

I used the Audio Mixer to adjust and balance the original audio track and the add-on music track. I selected "track" on both the audio tracks in the audio mixer.

After having adjusted the audio to my desired level, I printed the video to a file. After about 3 hours of rendering, I found the audio level of the final video remained the original unadjusted level ! What is the use of the audio mixer in fact ?

What is the correct way to adjust the audio level of a project consisting of dozens of clips ? I mean to adjust the audio level in one go for the whole track, not adjusting each clip individually.

Thanks in advance for you help.

    Best Regards
