  • Green screen when using DISCcapture

I captured about 20 mins from a DVD into Edius using DISCcapture. I have a Storm 2 card.
The resulting file was an m2p 1.32gb in size.
Here is the problem when I scrub the timeline I get the footage showing in the Edius monitor.
If I try to play the same footage all I get is a green screen.
    Any advice gratefully accepted.

    breen screen

taken from a previus poster - worked great for me iam using 4 storm systems

Try this: Settings > Plug-in Settings > MPEG Importer

Put a tick in the box 'Don't use PTS'

(I also tend to disable accel. seek if MPEG files are misbehaving)

Taking your advice.........I now have images but no sound.
I generated wave data on the captured m2p file and there is sound
there. I have tried both mono tracks and stereo settings, but no sound. I can see the wave data but thst is all I can do. Any ideas.

Sound problem solved. I should have had the settings to generic OHCI because I was monitoring through PC not TV. Stupid me.

activating this option solved my issue too. But when I use other video files the sound and image is out of sync :(
