Hi
Can anybody help me? I have two questions about Title in Edius 4.5.
1- Is it possible to determine default duration for Titles?
2- Can I define a keyboard shortcut for putting text in specific position in Title window? (For example X=418, Y=310)

Rt Clk any transition and choose duration. You can set whatever time you like.

I do not know of a setting for this. Other than use a "default" title that is positioned as you want and then always open it and then retype whatever test you desire.

Thanks for your reply, when I click "T" button, it open Title window and create title in length of IN/OUT points, title duration is equal with total duration of project, I know I can decrease title duration by choosing duration command, but I am looking for a way to create title in specific duration not in length of IN/OUT points. Can anyone help?

You need to go to Application settings>duration> and uncheck the boxes that add between in/out for titles and for mattes. I think you need to have 4.54 to do this. I know it was very annoying when I upgraded from 3.6 to 4 that somehow in/out was set and whether I set a colour matte or title it always went between the in/out. I believe 4.54 rectified this.

Thanks Ron, yesterday I opened application settings and didn’t find anything about title duration, my Edius version is 4.5.1 but tomorrow I will go to application settings to see if there is a parameter about title or not.

Sorry, for some reason I saw transition not title.

Go to Settings > Application Settings > Duration then the middle box should be Title Duration where you can set your duration time. You also have the option of Automatically adding the title mixer and Adding between IN/Out

yes, this was annoying, you will need Edius 4.54 before you can do that
