Try set single monitor setup, then switch to dual.

Start up Edius and choose create user profile...choose that profile and start the project you want...
All your settings (except hardware settings) will return to default...
Also there is no need to delete the old profile...

There might be a better way to find the layout window...
this is just a suggestion....

great, how do i do that? and what do i lose if i do ...any other settings

If you are using Edius 4.5x just delete the user profile and create a new one....

i have a duel monitor set up and right i click to select the layout tool and it is activated but not visible, i have tried to reset the layout to normal and tried different screen resolutions to no avail

any ideas
