avid codecs for pc

i am using edius 4.0 for editing and fusion 5.0 for composing. i downloaded avid's codecs for pc and got very good result with dnxhd codec. but when i try to import the movie to edius i can see black space with the same duration of that movie. while importing edius gives no error msg. besides it imports all other quicktime movies without avid codecs succesfully. how can i solve that problem???

There's no easy solution - EDIUS doesn't support DNxHD. You will need to render out to another codec that EDIUS can support, from your source timeline.

If fusion is on the same system same system as edius you can use canopus HQ
