i wonder if someone could help the editing workflow for this coming AVCHD SDcard camera.. i heard edius 4 support AVCHD..does it mean i just do drag n drop from the ordinary card reader to the timeline?..just like that? or should i convert it to CANOPUS HQ like always.. i heard the 16GB SD card could record 130minutes! with its highest quality setting... finally a cheap mem card for HDV

Unless you have CPU power to burn and spare, convert to Canopus HQ - never edit the AVCHD or AVC-Intra or HDV off the timeline. The original data (from camera) is very highly compressed - and expanding that in real time will cost you a very high CPU usage.TingSern
