  • How do I know an effect has been applied to a clip ?

I am a newbie to Edius and have tried searching the forum for an answer regarding my question, but in vain.

My question is that: after doing a lot of editing in the timeline consisting of dozens of clips, how do I know in which clips that a certain effect such as speed or time remapping has been applied ?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

That is a very interesting Question, something I have not thought about or sought.
The answer is I cannot find one, there does not seem to be any indication on a clip where either have been added. Just tried it and there is no indication other than playing the clip.
A good question anyone else have an input?

If a filter is on a clip, there is a blue line on the top of it. For time remapping etc, you have to right click on the clip in question & look for the "tick" next to the relating menu item.

Speed and time remap are also visible in the information pallet window.

I have made a layout with the "effect", "Information", "bin" windows open
all time. This way all information for a clip are visible all time, the speed and time remap are visible in the upper text area in the infomation window.
