I cut up my stock footage with Edius 4.54 and save the finished work for demo reels. A client selects the clips from the reel and I make a m2t file and write that selection back to tape for shipping. If however, a client wants it fast like sent over the internet, can they convert the m2t file into something their editor can use? What's the best format to send HDV via FTP to clients who use PC and MAC based editors. Does converting to m2t compress (degrade) the quality? I'd like to avoid going back to the original tapes and dubbing off them to another camera. Thanks!
