Even if you fade in & out, the 3 frames (or more) audio sync problem still remains.

Quick test, short clip on time line, say 1 minute or so, divide it into several clips, just cut every 10 or 15 seconds, then on alternative clips put a audio vst, limiter, compressor etc. make sure there are NO fades.

Does it pop, click, how ever you want to name it ?, does it have 3 frame's or more sync problems towards the video clip ? i think it should be 2x Yes.

A quick work around would be to use Audio fades at in & out if you use any VST on the time line.

This works for audio embeded in the video track or as stand alone audio on the audio tracks, still, be aware of the 3 frames delay it gives you as a unwanted bonus ..................

@ Anton, this was not meant as a personal attack, I think we all know what you were saying (writing)

@ all, even with high end VST plug-ins like TC electronics & TL Audio you have these problems.
Not only with the low end plug in provided with Edius ...............

I know they are not normal, what I meant to say is that they are happening with the current version of Edius and soundsoap and maybe other vst plugins

thanks. I went back and checked the source file and didn't hear a pop but when in the final form I did. So I reduced the volume and it went away. funny I would hear it one place but not in the other.

    thanks

Have you tried to open the waveform, located the tl cursor over the peak, right click and selected V-mute? You can also add a V-mute button to the tl button bar and adjust V-mute duration in settings.

started a topic audio pops between sequences

    audio pops between sequences

My workflow consists of creating sequences and then combiing into one master sequence. In my latest project there is an audio pop between several of the sequences. The pops are not in the original sequence. The sound is just a slight "click".
How do I get rid of this noise?

    thanks
