  • How do you prevent Edius from automatically adding an exported clip the BIN?

So, I could have sworn there was a way to turn off this default behavior inside Edius. But I can not seem to find it in any of the preferences. Am I just remembering incorrectly, and there is no way to turn that off? Or am just not seeing it?

    Thanks!

[Air cooled into the low teens idle, 49c under heavy sustained oc'd load.] Dual 19" displays with 32" video monitor. ShuttlePRO.

Note that it will also go to the bin that is selected. So I have an export sub bin that I select before I export anything and at least then I know where they have been put in the bins.

It would be nice to be able to disable this, or have it as an optional "import after export" check box on the exporter disalogues

Yes I agree as I never use the export in the same project so always end up deleting.

I too wish there was a way to turn that off. And while we’re at it, I wish the export file name would default to the sequence name...

Ok, thanks ... yes disappointing. And "YES" to everything everyone said in this thread thus far. All great ideas and suggestions!

On the other hand, I like to have the export handy for quick viewing of the result and sometimes reuse in the same project, especially audio exports. So having the option to exclude it would be OK.
