24p Footage

I need help, I am trying to capture some footage my friend shot. I used a GY-HD110 he shot HDV-HD24p mode. I got it capturing but now I cant get it to work. What preset in Edius do I use for that??

What a nightmare, I couldnt get a preset to work finally I did but it crashed everytime I finished a tape then it broke to clips up into about 10,000 per tape. I never got it to work twice in a row I kept having to reset my camera.
Whew what a mess.

Randy I think you need to read the manuals of the camera and Edius itself.

There is a 720p24 preset with 4.54

I got it to work, I still dont know if I was using the wrong preset or there was something wrong with his footage. I went into edius and turned off all forms of scene detection because I was geting about 10,000 clips per hour of video. Also I had a hard time keeping the camera connected, I could control it but I kept losing video(on the computer end) without shutting the camera off and on. I never had this much problem with my 720p 30 tapes.

Is the 720p 24 preset the one that says "720p 23.98" and to capture "720/23.98 over 59.94p"?

I was geting about 10,000 clips per hour of video.

Randy do NOT capture 24p footage with MPEGcapture Utility. Use Edius for capturing one longer files.
