formated my computer edius not getting my serial what can i do it says number of computer exided ..i have no computer with edius 8 .only this one - thanks.

you never deactivated edius before formatting. Edius allows for 3 activations (2 normal, 1 emergency), only active at a time though. If you don't deactivate before formatting, you loos an activation.
You need to contact your reseller ot the support people at Edius.net to see if they will release the activations. An antiquated computer where I had my first activation of Edius 7 (Win 10) was failing.
I bought a new motherboard, cpu and memory and fired it up with the existing C: drive. All the new drivers installed automatically online, and all I had to do was reactivate Windows and Edius asked for my serial number.
I was lucky. I had forgotten to deactivate Edius online before I swapped the hardware. I will remember to do that next time, if necessary.Regards,
