Nice to see it will use NVIDIA GPU. Stated for export, so not sure if it will also be used for timeline decode like QS. That would be nice. Background rendering also very good. Something to really look forward to.

Have to say I like the change to the marketing strategy, with advance news of a new product. Plenty of time to think about hardware changes.

Looking forward to next month, with information about audio improvements.

            Thank you GV,

Unfortunate we cannot comment on what will be in EDIUS 10. We are still in the prototype stage and as such functionalities may change at the time of release. When we are closer to release we will be able to give a clearer view of functionalities.
We thank you for your interest and we will give more info on what our team is working on in the future.

Well my 4790K introduced in 2014 has AVX2. I think its reasonable for a modern piece of software to require a modern PC especially if users want performance with advanced features and high resolution sources with HDR. Performance has to come from somewhere. A modern CPU and GPU. I think we are lucky it is only AVX2 not some other requirement especially one restricted to Intel since at the moment AMD clearly has the CPU advantage.

Thanks for your advice, I have an I7 4790K so I'm okay as a PC and in any case I can't wait for September to come and put it on sale on X, I will definitely buy it given the improvements they have made.
