  • Help for this video clip

In the follwing link, you will find a downloadable video clip. Please watch it through Edius and see how the distortions and noisy curves appear and provide me a solution. For your information I am using a MiniDV camera (Sony), FireWire connection for transfer, Edius 4.02 and the input settings for capture are applied to OHCI DV 50i

This site is completely normal and carries no viruses or trojans.

I downloaded the clip and it played back perfectly.

    Instead of reinstalling Edius 4.02
try downloading the free update to 4.54 and see if that fixes the problem.

your file is perfect, no problem at all

you maybe seeing artifacts in your preview monitor, if so, try another overlay method or graphics card driver, do you know how to change overlay method in Edius? if not, I provide screen capture

here is how you can make sure that your clip is fine, watch it on a TV

place clip on timeline and connect firewire cable to Sony MiniDV camera, connect a TV to camera and play timeline

In product related downloads, there is a very long list of programmes and I could not find the upgrade to ver 4.54. Which one do I have to select?
